Tundra 4hi blinking

To disengage the 4x4 system, you need to do the same as when you engage the system, only in reverse. Stop, put transmission into neutral, switch knob to 2WD, or 4Hi whichever position you need, then place transmission back into drive. Another thought just occurred to me.

Toyota want almost $1000 for that part alone and you'll still have to open the transfer case up to pull the actuator off. Instead I went a bought an used whole transfer case for $600 and put it on.
