As far as I know, it’s the size, closely followed by the amount of fish. That can’t hold more then half a gallon—if that. A single fish needs at least 5 gallons (preferably 10), and you can only really get away with a Betta in that. Yeah, I think of jellyfish as equivalent to plants in terms of how much empathy I have towards them.
