1 Answer. Have 2002 Nissan Xterra with a 3.3 engine. The engine stopped running 5 months after doing a cylinder head rebuild. She would crank, but wouldn't start. Checked trouble codes and found P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor or circuit fault.Sensor not sold alone, so I replaced the distributor.
